Welcome to our website !
I have a confession....

I love food.
Look, I'm just a girl that eats.

I love all foods...sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy...you name it! I love my kitchen and I love cooking!! I choose to make meals as "real" as I can. I do have a few exceptions but for the most part, we eat real food, organic, grass fed, no preservatives kind of stuff.

I go through phases where I love something and just can't get enough!!! Here is my ever changing obsession list...I am currently loving...

Spinach + Artichoke Hummus {love} with baby carrots. I could eat this at every meal.
Almond Butter + Honey + Bagel Thin = oh, joyful breakfast

And my favorite snack...hellooooo lover...

Enough about food. I'll post some beauty favs tomorrow! What are your food obsessions?

Until then...Happy EATING!!!

I have been so busy preparing for my first event, I haven't had time to blog! Between my real job and my "love" job I can't keep up! BUT I am not complaining!! I love to be busy and I love to be going all the time. So, Saturday was my first event in Hickory. I have my bags at a store in Noda (Charlotte, NC) and have been to an art crawl there a few times but Saturday was my first real showing in Hickory.

Unfortunately, Andy was out of town so I had to recruit some help! Thanks to my awesome dad for bringing tables and helping me set-up the tent and organize my bags. My mom was there as well, stuffing bags so they could "sit up". Overall, I think it looks pretty good. I have some ideas for my next time...crossing my fingers there is a next time!

I had some help with cutting and ironing the last few weeks. Honestly, had I not had this help...I would have never been able to whip out 60 bags. I feel good about my inventory and a little break but will back in my office/sewing room sooner than later.

My best friend Erika came and helped me all day! Well, at least until the storm blew in.

Overall, the day was a success. I was disappointed in the weather. I had hoped to be out there until 7pm but when the lightening started, we had to pack up.
I worked for a couple of months to build my inventory. Weekends and week nights I was consumed with fabric, patterns and ideas.

Hopefully someday {soon} I can enjoy more of this type of "work"! :)
It's still so unreal to me that I started my etsy shop only 7 months ago. So much has happened and I feel so blessed!!!

Look for some new flowers and a new pouch in the very near future!!

Off to run my long run...or walk/run... :) It is beautiful weather today!!

cheers!

Currently, I'm obsessing over all things yellow. Typically, this is not a color I've ever really worn or used in decorating my home! However, I have a guest bath with a shower curtain that has a yellow stripe...so now I'm obsessed with brightening this bathroom up with some yellow!!

Here are a few of my favorites...

I don't know if it's the time change or if my body is craving vitamin D but I am loving this color these days.

What color are you crushing on??

This sums it all up for me...

"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn’t matter how fast or how far. It doesn’t matter if today is your first day or if you’ve been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run."
— John Bingham

I love this quote. I'm not fast, I'm not consistent, some days I feel like I can't go another step and others I feel like I could run forever.

cheers!!
xoxo.
