six:one designs

I am busy getting ready for my first event with my bags (on April 9th). So, I haven't added any new pieces to my shop in some time. I hope to have one or two new bags early next week.

In the meantime, here are a few of my favorites...some are still available on the shop. I included a few that have sold already but I just loved them!!!

I am so excited about this weekend!! We're already making plans to grill with friends and spring starts on Sunday! The weather will be gorgeous all weekend. I have lots of sewing to do but will enjoy a nice long run (8 miler) in the morning!!

Well, next week I'll start my planned Thursday OOTD week wrap up! I have been overwhelmed with work and such to even remember to take photos this week. Sad to say, I haven't had the time to do any internet browsing either!

So, for today...I'm going to do a mini about me. 10 random things about me!

1. I love God. He has been my rock my entire life.
2. Lila is and always will be my baby...even if she is furry. I love her more than life.
3. I say a thank you prayer every single day for God bringing Andy and I together. Even on the days he's on my nerves! :)

4. My family is crazy but I love them. Always something going on!!

5. Most of my friends I've known for 10 or more years.

6. I love SPRING, SUMMER, FALL and WINTER. I love living in NC!!

7. I want to be a better/faster/smarter runner.

8. I am very insecure.

9. My dream job would include a baby swing in my six:one design office!

10. I cry a lot more than people know...mostly about other people's lives or something on TV.

I was going to title this post...always a bridesmaid...but this weekend was much more than just being a bridesmaid. This weekend was a new beginning for one of my best friends!

She and I have been friends for a long time and we've been through many relationships and heart breaks. Funny, we were talking this weekend and saying how thankful we are for unanswered prayers.

I never imagined myself to be single in my mid to late 30s. I had a great plan to find my husband by 25 and start on the broad of kids. Little did I know, God had a different plan. Through all the tears, begging, bargaining and pleading over the years, I had almost given up hope!

How thankful and blessed I am for God's plan. How fortunate I am to not have the answer I wanted all those years ago. It's amazing how life works out. I say it very often and it is true, but we really never know what tomorrow may bring. And for that..........I am very thankful.
